Driving in Grenada

To obtain a local driver's permit visitors must present the following to the Royal Grenada Police Force - Traffic Dept on The Carenage:
- National driver's license
- Passport
- Counterpart license for persons coming from the UK only.

The local driver's permit is valid for three months and costs US$12.00 or £7.

Driving in Grenada is similar to the English system, where driving is on the LEFT.
EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 1st 2010, a mandatory 15% Value Added Tax (VAT) is added to your final bill.
